Kasia Halliday is a Director and Quantum Expert at Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Dubai, with two decades of experience spanning quantity surveying, commercial management, contract administration, and construction disputes. She has an established track record of delivering strategic and technical support to counsel and clients across high-value, complex projects including international airports, large football stadiums, luxury resorts, mixed-use developments, refineries, desalination plants, and critical infrastructure such as highways and access roads.
Her expertise lies in the evaluation of quantum claims involving prolongation, disruption, disputed variations, resource issues and others. Kasia has led quantum teams and provided testimony in arbitration. Earlier in her career, she worked on live projects in the UK and GCC, gaining broad commercial and contractual expertise across the full project lifecycle.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying from the University of Salford and an LLM in construction law, arbitration, and adjudication from Robert Gordon University. Kasia is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCiarb), and an RICS Registered Expert Witness. She is also included on the DIAC’s Arbitrator List.
As Co-Chair of the Ciarb UAE Branch, Kasia is committed to promoting arbitration and alternative dispute resolution in the region, strengthening the Branch’s role as a hub for thought leadership, training, and professional development. Alongside this, she actively champions diversity and inclusion in dispute resolution, encouraging women to step into leadership roles and highlighting how diverse perspectives enrich the field and drive industry growth.
